2008 Audition
Prep Class
From January through March, several members of Pro
Cheerleaders Alumni volunteered their time and expertise
to other NFL Cheerleader hopefuls at the 1st Annual
Audition Prep Class. The Audition Prep Classes included
techniques needed for auditions such as turns, kicks,
and basic dance steps. “What’s unique
about our class is that it offers an inside edge
that only alumni of professional teams can give.
We offered other expert advice as well, including
a photography session to give ladies tips at looking
their best on camera (angles, etc.), a trainer from
Bailey’s Gym explained the importance of exercise

and nutrition, and a
makeup artist to show the ladies how to apply colors
and what compliments their skin tones best.”,
says Darlene Clancy, PCA Board member and prep class
instructor.
This year’s classes were very successful,
we will definitely offer these classes every year!

Anita, Julie and Donna represent the Roar Alumni
at the NFL Player of the Year Banquet hosted by
the NFL Alumni Association. This was a stepping
stone for our organization. We hope to see more
faces of the Roar Alumni in future NFL Alumni events.
There was also the first NFL Cheerleaders Super
Bowl event where the current ROAR competed against
seven other NFL Teams in dance, flag football, volleyball
and obstacle racing. Our ladies performed exceptionally!
