The 2011 PCA Teen Cheerleaders, parent volunteers and some Roar Alumni members attended the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation Honor Rows Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, February 9th at the Everbank Field west club.

Each year, the volunteers of the Honor Rows Program are given a special dinner and awarded a certificate. Volunteers are also given a tour of the stadium and honored with a guest speaker. This year’s guest speaker was new head Coach Mike Mularkey.

The Jaguars Foundation and United Way proudly present this award for valuable time and effort spent during the 2011 season. In attendance, Brooklyn Ramirez, Suzanna Ramirez, Allison Fissel, Amy Fissel, Carolyn Cassidey, Caroline Geer, Karina Cassidey, Patti Cassidey, Melissa George, Autumn Herod and Donna Windsor.

On Saturday, July 31st, 2011, seven PCA members participated in Wal-Mart’s Back to School Rally at the Jacksonville Landing.  Members included Kim Balazic, Monica Anderson, Amanda Upton, Missy Metz, Autumn DeVries, Dana Dorrell, and Melissa George.  Each alumni committed to three hours of passing out Lipton Tea samples to the hot crowd that came out.  It was a wonderful event that gave away thousands of school supplies free to the community.  There was a lot of live entertainment including a performance from the Roar.  The PCA hopes we can continue this partnership with Pepsi, who was also a sponsor, to have many more appearances.  Each PCA member received a cute Lipton shirt to wear with our logo on the back.
