CLASSES:
As part of PCA’s mission to share our
experience and knowledge with other aspiring
cheerleaders and dancers, our alumni instruct
classes throughout the year. Many of our alumni
stay educated on the latest dance moves, choreography,
and techniques by attending professional conventions
and workshops. |

Audition Prep Class:
Each year, PCA holds sessions of Audition
Prep Classes twice a week from January through
March. These classes are designed to teach
pro cheerleader hopefuls techniques and skills
needed for auditions such as turns, kicks,
and basic dance steps. Many professional teams
begin holding auditions as early as March
each sports season, and PCA members are offering
their experience and advice to help make the
cut, however, these classes do not guarantee
placement on a team.
“We are presenting a unique opportunity
to get the inside edge that only alumni of
professional teams can give. We cover the
basic fundamentals of an audition that goes
beyond dance technique which includes make-up
tips, image consultation and interview tips”,
says Darlene Clancy, an instructor of PCA’s
Audition Prep Class.
